| H337 ENGINE TEST
SETS |
The multi-purpose H337N Series Test Set
provides test and troubleshooting capability
for most turbine engine/airframe combinations.
The test set measures engine temperature, RPM,
ambient pressure, torque, EPR, fuel flow,
synchros, and ambient temperature. The H337N
internally stores parameter scaling information
for ten different engine types to facilitate
use on multiple applications.
The test set also incorporates a recording
capability to allow storage of information
throughout the engine run, and a printer for
information retrieval anytime during or after
an engine run. The H337N can also be used to
verify calibration of cockpit engine
temperature indicators.

The H337H-2 is a universal on-wing engine
performance analyzer designed to test specific
engines through the use of plug-in application
modules. The initial application was developed
in cooperation with General Electric for the
CT7 turboprop. The system incorporates
performance equations/algorithms which allow
in-depth analysis of gas path properties. On
the CT7 engine, these computations include:
T4.5 trimmer setting, T4.5 margin, shaft
horsepower, and compressor efficiency.
The system incorporates a user-friendly touch
screen display which facilitates ease of
operation from one engine application to
another. The display also provides the operator
with instructions on how to test the engine.
Engine runs can be stored on a hard drive,
floppy disk, memory stick, or sent to a
commercially available printer.
