| H9000
SERIES |
The H9000 Series Indicators are solid-state
analog/digital gauges which measure the
output of ANSI Type K thermocouples or
frequency input from a tachometer generator
or magnetic pick-up.
Since temperature and speed are the most
critical engine parameters used in monitoring
mechanical integrity, prolonged engine life
is dependent upon top-flight
instrumentation.
The H9000 Series Indicators supply the level
of accuracy needed to protect your
investment.
Pointer accuracy is ±0.6% of
full-scale, while digital accuracies are
±2 °C,
±0.1 %RPM.
These single-purpose indicators also have
pointer and digital redundancy, providing
exact readings on digital display and rate
data with the pointer. Maximum full-scale
response time for the H9000 indicators is two
seconds.
The H9000 Series Indicators are drop-in
replacements for Howell Instruments' own H900
Series Indicators that were designed in the
1970s.
The H9000 series indicators use current
technology to achieve a calculated MTBF (in
accordance with MIL-HDBK-217) of 12,000 hours
and they have demonstrated over 15,000
operational hours, which included over 49,000
power on-off cycles and greater than
8,000,000 total pointer sweeps of full
scale.
