| HISTORY |
Howell Instruments, Inc. was founded in 1951 with
the development of the JETCAL® Analyzer. This
first JETCAL® Analyzer was designed to fulfill
the need for testing J47 engine temperature systems
on the B-36 bomber. It established the four-step
working philosophy that continues to spark Howell's
progress.
- Start with the customer's need;
- Investigate the need and propose the best
solution;
- Design, develop, and test the product;
- And continually support the product along
with the customer's changing needs.
Today, Howell manufactures and distributes a
diverse line of systems that fulfill the special
requirements of many customers in the military,
commercial, and private aviation, and in various
industrial processes. New technologies are
continuously incorporated to maintain Howell's
products at state-of-the-art levels.
Products range from simple digital instruments,
through jet engine trimmers and test sets, to
highly sophisticated computer-based data
acquisition systems. Howell's continued success is
attributable to the quality and reliability of its
products.
The Howell organization welcomes new challenges and
the opportunity to develop new equipment to meet
our customer's needs.
